Answered Prayer!

God is good!  We had been praying with our new support plan that one church would commit to $1200 a month.  This is a great commitment we knew God could provide but did not know how.  Then last month Stonybrook UMC approved a new commitment towards our ministry that works out to $1250 a month over five years!  We are very grateful for their increased commitment and excited to now have 64% of our sustaining budget raised.  We are getting closer.  We have a revised support plan on our  "Get Involved"  page for those interested in partnering with us.  When the remainder of our budgets is raised we can leave for the field.  Please be praying that more partners may yet step forward.

New Church Contacts
	In November, we met with three new church contacts in the Columbus area. We pray that as we get to know each other better these churches may want to partner in ministry together. Please join us in this prayer.

National Missionary Convention

November 15th-18th was the National Missionary Convention in Cincinnati. It was great time of encouragement being around so many others passionate about world missions. We were able to visit teamates back in the states on furlough and get an update on Turkana news from the field.   It is an exciting time for the Turkana church as they are maturing and seeing growth, but the team is struggling with only three teamates currently in the field trying to keep all the minitries running.  We can't wait to get there and do our part! We also visited with other recruits with CMF preparing to leave for the field. Many of the recruits we haven't seen since training. We enjoyed catching up and hearing about their support raising experiences.  We all could relate to each others' struggles and blessings.  It is interesting how God has used the expereince to prepare each of us for the field.  We were reassured that this time is time well spent.
