Stonybrook UMC

On October 14th we were able to be back with Stonybrook UMC, our sending church.   They are very supportive of us and our ministry.  We spoke at three services updating the congregation on our preparations and progress toward leaving for the field.  We also had a reception time ,for current supporters and others interested, where we were able to visit and share in more detail.  We are always encouraged by their great involvement and we were truly blessed by our time with them.

Shiloh Church's Missions Fair Sunday, October 7th, we were at Shiloh Church for their missions fair. It was nice being back at the church I grew up at and reminiscing on all of the great memories I had there. We got to visit with many members of the 2002 mission trip to the Dominican Republic and update many current supporters. The fair had a great turn out with many ministries represented.   Shiloh is very committed to service and making a difference in its community.  We are grateful to be a part of their vision for outreach.
